India fell 10 places in the World Economic Forum rankings

In an annual report of the World Economic Forum (WEF), India has slipped significantly lower. It has been said in this report that assesses the betterment brought for competition in the economy.

India was ranked number 58 in the Global Competitive Index last year but now it has reached number 68.

Singapore tops the index. Then there are countries like USA and Japan. Most African countries are at the bottom of this index.

The reason for India's ranking falling is being said to outperform other countries. In this index, China is 40 places above India at number 28, there is no change in its ranking.

Countries like Vietnam, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan also rank above India in this list. Among the BRICS countries, China is at the top, while Brazil is also at number 71 below India.

The World Economic Forum says that India's economy is very large and quite stable, but the pace of economic reforms is very slow.

Colombia, South Africa and Turkey have outperformed India in the past year in terms of better economic environment and have overtaken India.

This report also states that signs of recession are appearing all over the world, which will be a big challenge for the economies.

Pakistan is at number 110 in this ranking while Nepal (108) and Bangladesh (105) are also above it.

In this report, India's health system, condition of workers and the state of banking services have been considered responsible for this decline.

This decline is undoubtedly a matter of concern for India. Especially at a time when India needs more investment and business activities to overcome lethargy.

A case of treason was filed against those who wrote to PM Modi on mob lynching

An FIR has been lodged in Muzaffarpur in Bihar on about 50 celebrities who wrote open letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing concern over the increasing incidents of mob lynching in India.

A case has been registered in this FIR under separate sections relating to sedition, nuisance, hurt religious sentiments and obstructing peace.

The people against whom this FIR has been done include about 50 people including famous historian Ramchandra Guha, film directors Mani Ratnam, Anurag Kashyap and actress Aparna Sen.

According to the news, the FIR has been registered following the order of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Surya Kant Tiwari on a petition filed by local lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha two months ago. Ojha said that his petition was accepted by the CJM on 20 August.

National Award-winning film director Adoor Gopalakrishnan's name is also recorded in this FIR. He has expressed concern over this and said that no one becomes a traitor only because he does not agree with the ruling party.

Gandhi's bone remains stolen on 2 October

Mahatma Gandhi's bone remains are reported to be stolen in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh in India. The Madhya Pradesh Police has confirmed this.

On October 2, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated. This incident is on the same day.

In the year 1948, a part of the bone remains of Gandhi was kept in Bapu Bhawan at Rewa.

According to the FIR registered in this case, not only the bone remains have been stolen but their photographs have also been tampered with. 'Anti-national' has been written in green on Gandhi's picture.

Rewa police told local journalist Shuraiha Niazi that he was investigating the matter.

Mangaldeep, who oversees Bapu Bhawan in Rewa, described the incident as shameful.

He said, "I opened the gate of the building in the morning because it was Gandhi Jayanti." When I came back at around 11 in the night, I saw that Gandhiji's bones were missing and his picture was defaced.''

After the incident, local Congress leader Gurmeet Singh lodged a police complaint.

He said, "This madness must stop. I request the Rewa police to check the CCTV cameras installed in Bapu Bhawan. ''

Mahatma Gandhi played a very important role in giving India independence from British rule. He gained fame all over the world through his satyagraha and non-violent movement.

However, a group in India considers them against Hindus. This group thinks that Mahatma Gandhi was in favor of Muslims. Due to this thinking, he was assassinated on 30 January 1948 by Nathuram Godse, a member of the Hindu Mahasabha.

After death Mahatma Gandhi's ashes were not immersed in the river.

They were divided into different parts and kept in various museums of Gandhi made in India, one of which is also Bapu Bhawan of Rewa.

Article 370: Supreme Court gives 28 days time to Center to reply

A Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court in India has given the Central Government 28 days to abolish Article 370 and respond to other petitions related to Kashmir.

A constitutional bench headed by Justice NV Raman has also asked the petitioners to present their side in the court within a week after the Center's reply.

The Supreme Court has fixed November 14 for the next hearing of the case.

On behalf of the Central Government in India, Attorney General KK Venugopal had asked the court for four weeks' time to reply to the Jammu and Kashmir petitions.

Numerous petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the removal of Article 370 giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir, freedom of the press, ban on communication facilities, validity of lockdown and on-going restrictions and human rights violations. .

The Supreme Court did not give any order regarding this in the first hearing and also refused to hear arguments about it immediately. The court said, "If the decision comes in your favor then everything can be restored."

The court also said that it will not accept any other petition in this regard.

However, the petitioners opposed the grant of four weeks' time to the central government and said that this would make the purpose of filing the petitions redundant.

The Union Territory of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir will formally come into existence on October 31, 2019. A three-member committee has been formed for the division of assets between the two union territories.

Rahul taunts PM Modi's 'Ab ki baar trump sarkar' speech

India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has given an explanation for what Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called 'Abki Bar Trump Government' in the US President's presence in Houston last month.

Jaishankar said that he did not support Donald Trump for the next election and his statement should not be manipulated.

The opposition Congress had raised a strong objection to Prime Minister Modi's speech, alleging that the Prime Minister had violated foreign policy by campaigning Trump.

But according to news agency PTI, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has rejected such objections.

When asked about this, Jaishankar said, "The Prime Minister did not say so. If you look carefully, as far as I remember they were talking about the past time that Trump used this line. So what we were told should not be manipulated.

But after the Foreign Minister's clarification, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has tweeted a taunt.

Rahul Gandhi said in this tweet, "Thank you Mr Jaishankar for covering up our PM’s incompetence. His fawning endorsement caused serious problems with the Democrats for India. I hope it gets ironed out with your intervention.  While you’re at it, do teach him a little bit about diplomacy.''

Welcoming Donald Trump at the start of 'Howdy Modi' program in Houston on 22 September, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised him and described him as a true friend of India.

Modi, referring to Trump's election campaign before becoming President, said, "The people of India have been able to associate themselves well with President Trump and the words of Candidate Donald Trump" this time Trump government "were also clearly understood to us. . ''

In fact, before the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump released a video in which he wished people of Indian origin a happy Diwali. At the end of this video, he used the words "this time Trump government".

During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in India, the Bharatiya Janata Party gave the slogan of "this time Modi government" and it also won the election.

After the Howdy Modi program ended, Congress leader and former Union Minister Anand Sharma tweeted and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of campaigning for the trump.

Anand Sharma wrote, "Mr Prime Minister, you have violated the time honoured principle of Indian foreign policy of not interfering in the domestic elections of another country. This is a singular disservice to the long-term strategic interests of India."

In another tweet, he wrote, "Our relationship with America has always been the same with Republicans and Democrats. Your open campaigning for Trump is going to create a rift in sovereign and democratic countries like India and America."

The senior Congress leader finally wrote, "Remember, you have gone to America as the Prime Minister of India and not as a star campaigner for the US election."

Why is there a demand to implement Article 371 in Jammu?

In Jammu and Kashmir, as the restrictions imposed after Article 370 were neutralized, as the government relaxed, the market movements started growing and lives were back on track. Business is going on normally in Jammu wholesale market.

The situation in Jammu is far better than the restrictions imposed in parts of the state. Especially compared to Kashmir.

There are strict security arrangements in the area. It is about two months from the end of the provisions giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir, but high speed internet is still a dream for the people here.

People here are getting internet facility through landline and mobile, but its speed is very low. As a result, people have not been able to file GST and income tax returns on time.

The people of Jammu are confused about their future. There are many questions in the minds of the local people, to which they have not yet been answered. For example, will Jammu and Kashmir remain a union territory or will it eventually be given statehood?

This question matters a lot to everyone, whether they are state government employees or businessmen and common people.

Under Article 370, outsiders could not buy land in the state, but now all can buy and sell.

This is the cause of concern for the local people of Jammu and they are looking forward to the political future of the state.

The apple market is doing well in Jammu's wholesale market. It is one of the big mandis here.

Shyamlal, president of the market association, says that apple prices are much lower than last year.

Apples are not grown in the plains. They come from the valley of Kashmir. Shyamlal says that he had paid the garden owners in advance for this season, but no one sent them apples.

He says, "The planters of the Kashmir Valley took an advance payment from us for this season, but we did not even have a truck of fruits. Our money is stuck. The first problem is that we are unable to contact them." If we talk about it then they say that the situation there is not good and their movement is banned.

In such a situation, apples are being sold from 50 to 70 rupees per kilogram. But the markets here are waiting for the best quality apple in the valley.

Shyamlal hopes that the conditions in the valley will improve and he will be able to get back his trapped money and goods.

People from outside the state have been eyeing Jammu for a long time to invest and have been investing in various projects for a long time. Some local businessmen have been upset since Article 370 was abolished.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Councilor and senior BJP leader Vikram Randhawa feels that many traders will not be able to stand ahead of the big players in the market.

He says, "There are not many big business houses in Jammu, but it is true that they have a fear that they will not be able to face the big players. The owners of heavy industries are already outsiders. Big investment in Jammu Even outsiders will do it. Local people do not know how they will face that situation. We cannot even face them. We do not have that much money or resources. ''

Vikram is also the owner of a crushing unit. He was happy when the four lane road project came up. He felt that business opportunities would increase for him but now his idea has changed.

He said, "Unfortunately, the people who got the contract for the four lane road project have brought their own crushing units. Not only the crushing units, they have also brought their workers from outside. We were disappointed that the development plans We have no contribution in it. ''

The local Dogras of Jammu are happy with the decision of the Government of India, but they are wishing that a system like Article 371 should also be in Jammu and Kashmir, so that the future of the youth can be secured.

Young Dogra leader Tarun Uppal says that the government should make some arrangements so that the future of the local people can be secured.

He feels that after the abolition of Article 370, the government should implement Article 371 of the Constitution in the state so that social security of the local people can be ensured.

Article 371 of the Constitution is applicable in many states of the Northeast, under which special provisions have been made for the states.

Special provisions were made for the states because they were quite backward compared to other states and their development was not done properly with time. Also, this article provides protection to their tribal culture. Also provides jobs to local people.

Article 371 speaks of the privilege of the local people over land and natural resources.

Article 371 is applicable in Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Manipur and outsiders are not allowed to buy land here.

Many people of Jammu believe that after the removal of Article 370, outsiders will get opportunities to loot the mineral and other natural resources there.

Sunil Pandita is a Kashmiri Pandit. Three decades ago he came from Kashmir and settled in Jammu. Pandita says that there are already many outsiders in Jammu.

He says, "From Kashmiri Pandits to migrant laborers. The city is already overburdened. We are not ready for outsiders. This move of the government will increase unemployment and crime among the local youth."

New law and order has been implemented in the state. This is a time of change and local people are confused about their future whether the state will remain a union territory or will it get the status of the state?

India gave Buddha to the world, not war: PM Modi

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi said that India has not given war to the world but given Buddha.

Addressing the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, Modi said, "We are residents of the country that gave Buddha, not war." Has given the message of peace to the whole world.

Modi only gave a 17-minute speech but during this he raised many issues.

They did not take the name of Pakistan, but must surely attack Pakistan in gestures.

Terming extremism as a threat to the world, Modi said, "Our voice has the seriousness and the indignation to alert the world against terror."

Modi said that terrorism is a challenge not for any country but for the whole world and hence it is important that the whole world should come together against terrorism.

Earlier, he said that people are in the United Nations General Assembly because people in India have given their mandate in their favor in a democratic way.

Modi recalled Mahatma Gandhi in his speech. He said that this year is also very important because India is celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi this year.

Modi also mentioned many schemes run by his government in India.

He specifically mentioned Ayushman Bharat, Cleanliness Campaign, Jan Dhan Yojana.

Modi said that his government will supply drinking water to 15 crore homes in the next five years. Apart from this, his government will build two crore new houses for the poor.

He said that there is talk of single use plastic ban all over the world, India is running a big campaign for this.

Referring to many schemes going on in India, Modi said, "Our mantra is public welfare with public participation and world welfare with public welfare."

Prior to the speech, the Prime Minister's Office of India has also tweeted about this.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will also address the General Assembly on Friday itself.

With the speech of both, it is being speculated as to what they can say. However, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said at the beginning of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit, Modi would not say anything on Article 370, his speech would include terrorism, security and environment.

At the same time, Pakistan has said that it will loudly raise the issue of alleged excesses in the Indian occupied Kashmir.

At the United Nations headquarters in New York, Modi delivered his speech on the fourth position on Friday. At the same time, Imran Khan will come to speak at number seven.

Narendra Modi reached America early this week. There he attended the Indian-American program in Houston with US President Donald Trump.

The Donald Trump was praised by Narendra Modi at the event named 'Howdy Modi'. He also praised the removal of Article 370.

After this, Donald Trump met Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. In this meeting, Trump said that Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi had made a very aggressive statement in front of 50,000 people at the Howdy Modi program.

Trump said that he hopes that Pakistan and India will come together and do something that is good for both. And they believe that everything is solved and it will also be solved.

At the same time, Trump did not say anything special during his meeting with Modi. But when Indian journalists asked questions over Pakistan, Trump had told Modi that he had good reporters.

Will the recession be cured only by giving tax relief?

India's Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made an important announcement on Friday, announcing tax exemption for corporate companies. Following the announcement of the Finance Minister, there has been a strong reaction from the Congress.

The Modi government has reduced it to 25.17 percent, reducing the corporate tax for domestic companies, new local manufacturing companies. The Finance Minister said that if a domestic company does not take advantage of any incentive, it will have the option to pay income tax at the rate of 22 percent. Companies that are choosing to pay income tax at the rate of 22 percent will not have to pay the minimum alternative tax.

Reacting to the Modi government's decision, Congress Party national spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said in a press conference on Friday that Sawan's blind saying is proving true for the current government of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Surjewala said that the economy is sinking, the country is reeling under recession and companies are shutting down. He said that GDP is falling, exports have failed and BJP ministers and government are saying that all is well. According to him everything is wrong but the rulers sitting on the chair in power do not understand it.

The Congress strongly targeted the Modi government and said that this government is one step ahead and four steps behind. The Congress spokesperson targeted Prime Minister Modi and the Finance Minister, saying that they are running the country's economy like novices.

He said that the recent decision taken by the BJP government has been taken only to save the staggering Sensex index. Under this decision, the corporate world has been given a rebate of Rs 1.45 lakh crore annually.

Apart from this, Congress spokesperson asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman five questions.

1. Reducing the rates of corporate tax from 30 percent to 22 percent and reducing it from 25 percent to 15 percent will result in a loss of one lakh 45 thousand crores annually. The Prime Minister and the Finance Minister should tell the country from where will this financial deficit be replenished? Will this be done once again by taxing salaried people, middle class people, poor, farmers, small shopkeepers, small businessmen and by increasing the prices of petrol, diesel, electricity? Or the country's profitable PSUs will be squeezed out.

2. Will the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister tell that an annual exemption of one lakh 45 thousand crores has been given under the corporate tax, which will increase the fiscal deficit. What is your solution for that? Now that the financial deficit will reach seven percent, which will directly affect the country's progress and inflation, then what measures do you have for it?

3. Why is the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister repeatedly defying the budget passing parliament and bypassing it? This is the first government in 70 years that rejected or amended or withdrew the budget itself within 45 days of presenting the budget. Is this kind of widespread disregard of the country's parliament and parliamentary system justified?

4. If you had to give relief in income tax, then why was it not provided relief to ordinary people, working people and middle class of this country? Even today, when the economic recession is hitting, its biggest impact is on the jobbers, middle class and ordinary people. Then the government does not give any relief to this class, why so?

5. Will recession be cured only by giving tax relief? Is this your economic vision? And if the recession is overcome by giving tax relief, then those who pay personal income tax will pay tax at 30 per cent and companies earning thousands of crores of rupees will pay tax at the rate of 22 and 15 per cent. What is right and fair in this country?

Was the support of NCP to BJP the biggest historical mistake?

Political activities have intensified before the Assembly elections in Maharashtra, India.

When the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi arrived in Nashik two days ago to start campaigning from the BJP, he had targeted the Congress, but also made strong comments on NCP and its senior leader Sharad Pawar. He surrounded the opposition on Article 370, saying that while the whole country is in support of it, the Congress and NCP are opposing it.

And now NCP has targeted BJP, saying that supporting BJP was their biggest mistake.

NCP national general secretary Jitendra Awhad said this in a program in BBC Marathi. He said that supporting BJP in Maharashtra was his party's biggest mistake.

In view of the Maharashtra assembly elections, in a session of Rashtra-Maharashtra organized by the BBC Marathi program in Pune, Jitendra Awhad said "The party convened a confidential meeting in Alibaug (Maharashtra). Where only 35-40 leaders of the party were invited I was standing right next to NCP chief Sharad Pawar and said that if we compromise with our ideals then we should end Sector. ''

This statement of Jitendra Awhad is special because NCP is a party that refrains from talking about any controversial decision.

The 2014 Maharashtra assembly elections made a hung assembly. BJP emerged as the largest party. It won 122 seats but needed 23 more seats to prove its majority. A majority of 145 seats were to be proved. The Shiv Sena was fighting the elections independently, breaking its alliance with the BJP even before the elections and was not ready to support the BJP to form the government at any cost.

It was Sharad Pawar's NCP party that came forward to take BJP's lead through 41 seats. Just after the election results came, NCP proposed to support BJP from outside. Sharad Pawar had said, "For the creation of a stable government and for the good of Maharashtra, we have only one option left to support the BJP so that it can form the government."

The NCP's support not only paved the way for the BJP to form the government in the richest state of the country, but it also increased the pressure on the Shiv Sena and it had to think to establish its place in the state's politics.

Experts believe that Pawar's move jolted the Shiv Sena plan and she was no longer in a position to negotiate with the BJP as the BJP now had the support of the NCP outside of the Shiv Sena as Plan B.

Many leaders, including senior BJP leader LK Advani, had said at that time that joining hands with the Shiv Sena should have been a priority rather than a losing and tainted party NCP. After a long debate, there was considerable negotiation and after that ten members of Shiv Sena joined the Fadnavis government.

But if one feels that the love between the BJP and NCP had ended with the Shiv Sena joining the government in 2014, it was not so. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited Sharad Pawar's Baramati house in the year 2015.

Supriya had said that the meeting was based on development. She is an MP from Baramati and also a daughter of Sharad Pawar.

Then in 2016, Modi was in Pune in connection with another program. Where he publicly praised Pawar. He had said, "I have no hesitation in saying or accepting that in the early stages of my political life in Gujarat, Pawar only taught me to hold my hand and walk."

But after that in the local elections in the year 2017, when the NCP was defeated by BJP, the equations changed since then.

The NCP started taking a very tough stance with the BJP after those elections. From fighting against the communal BJP, to supporting the BJP for stability and now against the fascist BJP… NCP has taken a U-turn but now it is difficult for them to defend their decisions.

Another party that has taken a U-turn is the Swabhimani Kisan Party. Its founder and former MP Raju Shetty fought against Sharad Pawar for a long time. He then joined the NDA in 2014 but left it in 2017. Now his party is an ally of NCP. This party also has dominance in southern Maharashtra.

When Shetty was questioned about his U-turn during a BBC program, he said "We never said that NCP leaders are saints. But we need their support to fight against BJP. Shivaji has taught That if you have to fight the Mughals, then you have to become an ally of Adil Shah and Qutub Shah. ''

Shetty is now Pawar's associate. He furthers his point by saying, "We do not expect that if the NCP and Congress government is formed then Ram Rajya will come but at least we will get freedom that we can give our feelings Be able to express.

BJP MP from Pune and former Kabina minister Girish Bapat says that the alliance of Shiv Sena and BJP will definitely happen. However, he also said that he hoped that the Shiv Sena would demand fair seats.

The alliance between the two saffron parties was broken before the 2014 assembly elections over seat sharing. But this time it has not happened.

Intense negotiations are going on between the BJP and Shiv Sena on the seat sharing. The BJP had publicly assured the Shiv Sena to give half of the total seats, but the BJP has backed it after a landslide victory in the Lok Sabha elections.

Did Nirmala Sitharaman announce a concession in corporate tax because of Howdy Modi?

India's Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made an important announcement on Friday, announcing tax exemption for corporate companies. After this, the stock market saw a record boom.

It has been reduced to 25.17%, reducing the corporate tax for domestic companies, new local manufacturing companies.

He said that if a domestic company does not take advantage of any incentive, it will have the option to pay income tax at the rate of 22 percent. Companies that are choosing to pay income tax at the rate of 22 percent will not have to pay the minimum alternative tax.

This decision has been praised by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has tweeted it by linking it with Howdy Modi's program in Houston, USA.

This concession will be for domestic companies and new local manufacturing companies. After the announcement by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the stock market saw a tremendous boom.

At one time, the Sensex has risen by 2000 points, which is the biggest one day rise in the last decade. Nifty broke the record of 10 with 550 points.

The Finance Minister said that it has been included in the new rules of income tax to encourage Make in India.

Sitharaman said that this step has been taken to maintain the flow of money in the market.

The effective rate of tax with surcharge will be 25.17%. A new provision has been added to the Income Tax Act. These provisions will be applicable from the financial year 2019-20.

India is one of the highest corporate tax paying countries in the world.

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described the reduction in corporate tax as a historic step. He tweeted, "This will give a big boost to Make in India, attract private investment from all over the world, increase the competitiveness of our private sector, create more jobs and it is a win for 130 crore Indians." '

Rahul Gandhi has tweeted, "Wondering what the Prime Minister is going to do during his 'Howdy Indian Economy' gathering for stock market turmoil. Houston's program costing over 1.4 lakh crore rupees till now. The most expensive event. But no function can hide the mess in the economy that 'Howdy Modi' has created in India. '

In India, domestic companies are taxed at the rate of 30 percent, while the same tax on foreign companies is forty percent. Along with this, they have to pay four percent health and education surcharge on the entire tax.

With this, if their tax amount exceeds one hundred million, then the domestic companies have to pay 12 percent surcharge and foreign companies have to pay five percent surcharge.

Reuters had said in a news report in August this year that a team directly related to the tax headed by CBDT member Akhil Ranjan was considering a tax cut. The agency had said that the committee is considering increasing the tax rate from 30 percent to 25.

However, it was not confirmed by the Finance Ministry at that time.

Economic expert Ashutosh Sinha says that people need more and more cash in the economy. But the government has not cut the price of petrol / diesel. This would have reduced the cost of the products and strengthened the economy.

According to him, "Reducing the tax on fuel would increase people's savings, bring more money into their hands and increase consumption, due to which there has been an atmosphere of concern due to the decrease in the last few months. This situation can be reversed. ''

Ashutosh Sinha says, "During the crisis of 2008, the government reduced taxes on certain raw materials and products to stimulate demand. But doing so is no better option because of the huge reduction in GST and tax collection The government's revenue is under a lot of pressure. ''

Paresh Parikh, associated with global accounting company E&Y, says, "This is a big step, like the USA, UK and Singapore, this step is in line with the trend of corporate tax cuts all over the world. Apart from this, the Government of India, in India It is compatible with the policy of promotion. Earlier FDI relaxation has also been in this direction. This is the right time to make the decision because the Americans For Npanian Manufacturing are seeing out of China. ''

Ajay Bodke, CEO of PMS Prabhudas Lilladhar, says, "In order to make India a preferred destination in terms of trade and to revive the economy, the government has made several announcements that will create a new power in the declining economy. The current domestic For companies to cut corporate tax from 35 per cent to 25 per cent and enter the manufacturing sector after October 1 and 2023 The government has laid a red carpet by taxing 15 percent for new companies starting their operations before that, which will ensure FDI and FII Arbo Dollar investment in the coming 5-10 years. ''

He said, "Truly the festival of lights has come first which will end the darkness of Indian economy."

According to Gopichand P Hinduja, co-chairman of Hinduja Group, "The announcement of corporate tax cuts by the finance minister is a great step that was needed to revive the Indian economy and manufacturing sector. It shows the challenges in the economy Yes, the government is fully prepared to deal with it. I want more such steps to be taken which the government has taken first Is doing.''
