All emergency services have reached the occasion and more than 300 people have been hospitalized. Police say hundreds of people have been evacuated from nearby areas.

Doctors at King George Hospital say 86 people have been put on ventilators.
The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a grant of Rs 1 crore to the families of those killed in the accident. At the same time, people who have been put on ventilator in critical condition have announced to help them ten lakh rupees.
The government has set up a committee to investigate the cause of the accident.

Visakhapatnam police assistant commissioner Swaroopa Rani told news agency Reuters in the early hours of the incident that at least nine people had died and 300 to 400 people had been admitted to hospitals.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi tweeted on this accident, "I have spoken to the officials of MHA and NDMA who are keeping an eye on the accident. I wish everyone safe and well in Visakhapatnam."
This chemical plant belongs to LG Polymers India Private Limited. The plant, built in 1961, belonged to Hindustan Polymers, which was acquired by the South Korean company LG in 1997.
Andhra Pradesh Industries Minister Gautam Reddy said in a conversation with BBC Telugu that it is a morning incident at 3:30. He said, "The factory was open after the lockdown. Workers were preparing to open the factory when the accident occurred. We are trying to understand what really happened. At first glance, it seems that the management rules of the company have not been followed.''
He further said, "After the lockdown, the government has issued guidelines to open factories especially those containing harmful products. If the company is found guilty of not following these guidelines, strict steps will be taken against it.
"Till now 90-95 percent leakage has been controlled," he said. In the next one hour it will be completely overcome. The gas leak has occurred for one kilometer. Employees were present inside the factory when the accident took place. We have not received any information related to them yet. We are trying to know these things that the people who have inhaled the gas with breath, what will be the effect after a long time? ''
India's Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy has expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased. He said, "I have spoken to the Chief Secretary and DGP of Andhra Pradesh about the situation there." The NDRF team has been asked to provide all necessary relief. I am constantly monitoring the situation. Hundreds of people have been affected due to this unexpected and unfortunate accident. ''
Industry Minister of Andhra Pradesh Gautam Reddy has said that the Korean Embassy has been informed about the incident. He said, "We expect the company to show responsibility for the incident as it would in a European Union country or in the United States. The responsibility rests with the company."
The District Magistrate has reported that the accident occurred when work was resumed at the plant after lockdown. "Initial efforts to stop the gas leak have not been successful. It will take two more hours to control it," he said.
The Indian Navy has given five portable multifeed oxygen manifold sets to the King George Hospital for gas victims. The technical team of Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam is present at the King George Hospital to assist in the quick installation of these sets.
What is styrene gas?
Styrene is originally used to make polystyrene plastics and resins. It is a colorless or light yellow flammable liquid. It has a sweet smell. It is also called styrol and vinyl benzene. Through benzene and ethylene, it is produced on a large scale in industrial quantities. Styrene is used to make plastics and rubber. These plastics or rubber are used to make food containers, packaging, synthetic marble, flooring, disposable tableware and molded furniture.
How does exposure to styrene affect humans?
If steam of styrene is mixed with air, it causes irritation in the nose and throat. This causes cough and sore throat and also causes water to fill in the lungs. If styrene reaches the body through excessive amount of breath, it can cause styrene disease. In this, problems like headache, nausea, fatigue, vertigo, confusions and upset stomach are started. These are called central nervous system depression. In some cases, exposure to styrene can lead to abnormal heartbeat and to coma-like conditions.
Styrene can also enter the body through the skin. If a large amount of it reaches the body through the skin, then conditions such as central nervous system depression arising through breathing can arise. If styrene reaches the stomach, similar effects are seen. Exposure to styrene spray may cause mild skin irritation and slight to severe eye irritation.
Numerous studies in epidemiology have shown that exposure to styrene may also increase the risk of leukemia and lymphoma. However, this thing has not yet been fully proved.
Dr Randeep Guleria, director of AIIMS based in Delhi, said that "the health of people exposed to styrene gas will not be affected for a long time. Nor are the diseases caused by this gas considered fatal."
But the biggest question is, can ordinary people also come in contact with it? Unless you work in the places where it is produced, then there is less chance of you coming into contact with it on a large scale. Common people may be exposed to very small amounts of styrene, due to the remaining plastic or naturally occurring in the environment. However, such a small amount is not likely to affect health.
How dangerous is styrene gas?
Styrene is a type of hydrocarbon. It is used in making plastics, paints and tires etc. Smelling or swallowing styrene affects the central nervous system. Do people exposed to styrene complain of difficulty in breathing, headache, weakness and bad effect on lungs? According to experts, it can cause cancer.

Rahul Gandhi, former national president of the Indian National Congress, spoke to Nobel laureate economist Abhijit Banerjee on Tuesday.
In this conversation the challenges of the economy during the Corona crisis between the two were discussed.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi spoke to former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan. In Rahul Gandhi's conversation, Banerjee's biggest emphasis was on the government giving money in the hands of the people.
Banerjee believes that the purchasing power of the people should remain and they should also maintain that when the lockdown opens, they will have money to spend. Therefore, the central government should give money to as many people as possible.
In a video conferencing with Rahul Gandhi, Banerjee said that India will have to give a big incentive package like the US so that people can get money and the demand in the market can increase.
Banerjee also praised some steps of the Modi government.
Abhijeet Banerjee said that the government had done a good job by imposing a three-month moratorium on the payment of the loan, but also said that it would have been better that the government would have announced to forgive and repay the payment in full.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi asked if people could be given money on the lines of NYAY?
Banerjee said that why not, if 60 percent of the lower class population give some money in the hands, then there is nothing wrong in it.
During the last Lok Sabha elections, the Congress promised NYAY in its manifesto.
Under this, it was promised to give 72 thousand rupees annually to about 5 crore families of the country.
Who wrote what on social media?
The conversation of Rahul and Abhijeet Banerjee is also discussed on social media.
Senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai tweeted, "First Raghuram Rajan and now Abhijeet Banerjee. Now that Rahul Gandhi has become the interviewee, then we should move on to another career. Unlike the news anchors, Rahul Gandhi listen the interviewer without interfering.
Sanya Rathore wrote, "I heard this discussion and personally I believe that Dr. Manmohan Singh should have been included in it. He could have given us accurate information about our economy."
Neha Chauhan, who describes herself as a Congress supporter, writes, "The thing to note here is that the focus of Rahul Gandhi is on the poor and Abhijeet Banerjee is helping us explain the new definition of poverty. Due to this epidemic, many people were pushed towards poverty.
A lot of people also wrote on Twitter, "Rahul Gandhi communicates with economists Raghuram Rajan and Abhijeet Banerjee. PM Narendra Modi interacts with Akshay Kumar and Salman.''

There is a lot of discussion of alternative politics nowadays. In politics, there is a debate on giving priority to public concern, coordination and purity. A large section of India is bored with Indian politics revolving around caste, fraternity and religion, and in a new sense is assuming the meaning of politics.
Such people believe that Bihar has been the laboratory of politics, then what better alternative politics based on issues should be started from the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly elections.
In support of this view, JP, Lohia's name-rider and disciples of socialist warriors like George Fernandes, Chandrashekhar, Madhulimaya, Rajnarayan, Kishan Patnaik, Karpoori Thakur are active in many places including national capital Delhi and Patna.
Journalists, writers, professors and some administrative officials, freed from red tape, are also found to be contemplating in this campaign and everyone's suffering is the same how to come clean in politics so that Indian politics can get a new dimension.
There are several types of efforts in this context. If someone is talking about giving a better alternative to both the power and the opposition in the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly elections by forming a coalition of small parties, then the second, the intellectual class by forming a new party and counting the failures of the government on the issue of public interest, a new option Is preparing to give. But there is a thought that claims that a group of well-known leaders should jointly decide one of their famous names and go to the elections under its leadership and present a new option.
In this episode, apart from the leaders, the opinion of the ground workers of the same opinion is completely different from the opinion of all the above. Those who believe that by giving proper participation and opportunity to all sections of the society, people can get the support of the public by making a concrete plan to solve the basic problems of the people, but the condition is that all people's participation in power and governance can be ensured.
Such people believe that by making forward, backward, scheduled castes and tribes and minorities of society a partner in organization, power and governance, a big line can be made in which no one can do injustice to anyone. At the same time, the power of a particular class could not be established.
Now the question arises whether all the above points will lead to the start of clean politics which can prove to be solid for the good of the public mind?
Can any such initiative get rid of casteism, familism and mania?
The youth section is fed up with the directionless statements of the leaders and the counter-attack of the ruling party and the opposition. Will the youth be able to trust the leaders who are going round in the name of any such ideological politics? Or will the youth power consider changing politics with a new torch!

Addressing the country at 8 pm on 24 March, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 'total lockdown' across the country from midnight to the next 21 days but on Wednesday in India's largest populated state Uttar Pradesh The chaos seen in the evening has endangered the purpose of the lockdown.
However, the competition to buy the goods which was seen after the announcement of PM, the same scene again showed in the evening of April 8 in Uttar Pradesh. There were reports from the afternoon that the corona affected districts of Uttar Pradesh would be sealed.
In almost every district of Uttar Pradesh, there was a rush of people to buy ration, vegetables, milk and medicines since midday, because there were reports on social media and some news channels that the state government is going to completely seal many districts. .
What is the meaning of sealing and what will be those districts, but there was a lack of clear information till noon when people started getting nervous.
In fact, the Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday decided to completely seal 104 hot spots i.e. the most sensitive areas in the 15 districts most affected by the corona infection. But from the way of announcing the decision, for the first few hours people remained confused about what would happen to their area.
This information was given by Lucknow Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi at 4:15 pm. He was also present with the Director General of Police Hitesh Awasthi and Principal Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad.
But even before this press conference, some news media quoted Chief Secretary of State RK Tiwari as saying that 15 districts would be completely sealed. Soon after this news, there was chaos in many places including Noida, Ghaziabad and Lucknow.
People started gathering outside the ration shops from 3 o'clock in the afternoon. In some places the police had to use force. Chief Secretary RK Tiwari gave a few bytes to some TV channels and said, "Lockdown is applicable all over the country and in Uttar Pradesh but there are 15 districts where the load is very high, so whatever affected areas are here, those Instructions have been given to seal all the places.
The Chief Secretary did not use the word hot spot, but it was clear from his talk that he is talking about completely sealing or locking down a particular area of fifteen districts, but this news would be broadcast on TV channels for a long time. Fifteen districts will be completely sealed.
The Chief Secretary had made it clear that the government would ensure the supply of essential commodities at these places. In fact, all the latest information related to the corona infection or the government's decisions are given through a press briefing at 4 pm, which is given by Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi.
On Wednesday, when the statement of the Chief Secretary created confusion and chaos, the reporters sought to know from Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi. He clearly stated that only the hot spots of 15 districts i.e. specially marked areas will be sealed.
Avnish Awasthi also discussed these apprehensions and rumors in the press conference but by then there was chaos. It is being told that behind this there is definitely a lack of communication or lack of coordination between the officials sitting at the higher level in the government.
Questions are also arising that when the press briefing was to take place at four o'clock in the evening, why did the Chief Secretary need to come to the media? The question also arises that before the Uttar Pradesh government's announcement of the new type of 'Hotspot Ceiling' and its 'breaking news' in some media, the government did not think what the consequences would be?
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday after an all-party meeting on the corona virus that it seems difficult to end the lockdown together.
The Indian government imposed a 21-day lockdown across the country on March 25 to prevent the spread of the corona virus. It is to end on 14 April.
Meanwhile, the government is reviewing whether the lockdown should be pursued or not. Several states have also suggested the central government to pursue the lockdown.
Prime Minister Modi has called the state of the country a social emergency. He has said that the priority of his government is to save the life of every person in the country.
Will the lockdown be increased in Rajasthan?

Rajiv Swaroop, Additional Chief Secretary, Rajasthan Home Department told the BBC, "We are preparing on this. Can't say anything right now."
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said about the end of the lockdown on NDTV, "I believe that we cannot open it together. If we open it, the 21-day lockdown will end."
Madhya Pradesh government gave hints to increase lockdown
The possibility of ending the lockdown after April 14 in Madhya Pradesh seems unlikely. However, no final decision has been taken on this yet. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has indicated that the lockdown may be extended.
Talking to reporters, he said, "People are being negotiated in the kind of situation that exists now. Nothing has been decided yet."
He said that the decision will be taken according to the situation. The Chief Minister said that in the present situation in Bhopal and Indore, it seems difficult to remove it. The first objective is to save people's lives, only then some thought can be done.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that where the corona is not yet suffering, talks are being held with experts to open the lockdown.
Corona positive patients are being found continuously in Indore and Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh. In Madhya Pradesh, the figure of corona positive patient has reached 327 so far. There have been 173 corona positive patients in Indore. In Bhopal, 45 officials / employees of the Health Department have been found corona positive, due to which the figure has reached 91.
Assam government in favor of conditional lockdown
Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of Assam Government has spoken before the media on lockdown several times in favor of conditional lockdown after April 15.
Speaking to the media on the lockdown after a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Minister Sarma said, "It is not possible to maintain the status of complete lockdown after 21 days of lockdown. Our PDS does not support lockdown. Therefore We are in favor of a conditional lockdown with some leeway. Overall many states in the country have a similar opinion about it.
Advising people to avoid gathering during festivals like Rongali Bihu and Good Friday, celebrated this month, the minister said, "The central government will decide the status of the lockdown and accordingly the state government cabinet will meet on April 13 If the Center leaves the decision to open and continue the lockdown on the states, then we will take the decision. And if the central government comes to the lockdown If the area is too decides to continue, we will proceed accordingly.
Chhattisgarh suggested to increase lockdown
Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singhdev says that even after April 14, the lockdown in the state should be extended for at least two weeks.
He said, "According to the assessment of experts globally and at the country level, we have such a large population in which the symptoms of corona are not visible yet. It is expected that in the coming days our Such cases will increase in the country.
Singhdeo said, "Corona outbreak has increased in the seven states that Chhattisgarh is surrounded by. We have been able to prevent corona infection in Chhattisgarh due to the lockdown. Nine out of ten patients have been discharged from the hospital. In such a situation, the lockdown should continue for at least two weeks even after April 14 in Chhattisgarh to maintain the current situation. ''
Earlier on Monday, the state Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel wrote a letter to the Prime Minister urging him to ensure concrete measures to control the prevalence of Kovid-19 across the country before starting inter-state traffic.
Kerala said the lockdown should be carried forward
At the same time, Kerala has officially asked the central government to remove the lockdown in a phased manner. Kerala has asked the central government to lift the lockdown in three phases by June 30.
This advice has been given by an expert committee headed by former Chief Secretary and Sebi member KK Abraham.
At the same time, Karnataka is considering removing the lockdown from 12 districts where no cases of corona infection have been reported so far. Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has indicated that the lockdown in other districts will be removed in a phased manner.

He said, the economy will be hurt but if people die then we will not be able to compensate for this loss. The economy can be revived, so I think the lockdown should be carried forward.
