After committing communal violence in Baduria and Basirhat areas of north 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, the police has imposed Section 144 here. Apart from this, the administration has banned internet service there.
Following an abusive post on social media Facebook, there was a violent clash between the two communities. On Tuesday, the violent mob not only attacked the police force but set fire to many of their cars and shops. After this, the main road connecting India-Bangladesh was also blocked.
Seeing the ruckus, BJP President of West Bengal, Dilip Ghosh, has demanded to impose President's rule in the state. The Bengal Police has issued a warning on Wednesday about spreading rumors that social media will be violating communal harmony.
A day back, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had said that due to a Facebook post, communal violence in North 24 Parganas was raging. The next day the police has issued this warning after the Chief Minister's statement comes. The West Bengal Police has issued this warning through tweet, which states, "Responsible people should tweet responsibly, not because of spreading rumors and dissociating communal harmony. Do not spread any kind of rumor. The administration takes full responsibility to maintain peace and harmony."
Given the situation, the state government sought help from the Central Government. Subsequently, the Union Home Ministry has sent three companies of Paramilitary Forces to 24 Parganas. Along with that, the Home Ministry has asked the State Government to submit a complete report in this matter.
Let the violence begin with a Facebook post. According to the police, a tenth student on Monday posted an abusive post on Facebook which had become viral in a while. After this people came to the streets and handed over many vehicles and shops to the fire.
Although the police immediately arrested the accused student after the riots, the administration had closed all the schools and colleges. The ruckus was that the rioters had also stopped local trains and bus services.
Later, BJP workers started protesting and jammed the road in many areas of the district, accusing the police of inaction. Four people from Vishwa Hindu Parishad, who are protesting against the incident in Kolkata's capital city, 100 kilometers away, have been arrested by the police.
The political war of communal violence in North 24 Parganas district reached the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Governor Kesari Nath Tripathi. After this violence, the Trinamool Congress has given the governor the mandate to follow the Constitution and restrictions the next day after the Governor called the CM. Trinamool Congress has alleged that Governor Kesarinath Tripathi has bad talks with CM. Like a BJP spokesman, CM has threatened.
In the Kutch district of Gujarat, 65 cows, calves were killed on the night of Friday-Saturday (June 30-July 1). The incident took place in a cowshed in Rapper taluka.
Now in the post-mortem, it is revealed that the reason for the death of cows is due to cyanide poisoning. It was believed that cows died due to the flood, but officials now say that it has nothing to do with heavy rains last week. This is the second such incident of such a large number of cows' death in a year.
According to the report of the Indian Express, the incident took place at Gaushala (cowshed) of Shri Jivadaya Mandal (SJM), about 7 km from Ratra town. There was heavy rain on Saturday night. In the evening at around 7:30 the shepherds found that some cows are suddenly becoming unconscious.
SJM manager Rajendra Kothari said in an interaction with the Indian Express, "As soon as our people said that the cattle were getting unconscious, we sent the veterinarians to the spot and started treatment for about 80 cows and calves. Unfortunately we could save only 30, while 65 died."
SJM is a trust which runs three cowsheds in the Rapar, the institution manages about 8,000 cattles. On Thursday, Rapar had a rainfall of 7 inches, followed by rain for the next two days.
Veterinarians have made it clear that cows were not killed due to rain. Shaleesh Chowdhary, the official Veterinary Officer of Rapar, said, "It was evident from the postmortem of cows that its death were caused by the poison of cyanide which was found in green millet, it was fed to it on Saturday afternoon. The quantity of cyanide was high in the fodder and after that the drinking of cattle water proved to be fatal. However, these deaths do not have to be taken with rain."
According to Kothari, fodder for cattle comes from neighboring villages. He said, "We need about 10 trucks of fodder every day. On Saturday, all the cattles were given a green millet feed. But veterinary doctors told that it was dangerous to drink water after eating millet fodder. Therefore, the cows who drank water after eating millet, they were affected and 65 of them died."
In many areas of Kutch, Gujarat Government provides fodder at token rates. Mamlatdar chief Hamir Vaghela said in Rapar, "The feed distribution is also underway in Rapar. There is also grass depot in Fatehgarh. However, not all people buy grass from here."
This incident of Kutch has happened only a few days after the Gujarat government showed sensitivity to the cows. Recently, the BJP government has made provision of life imprisonment for the killing of cows by changing the Gujarat Animal Protection Act. Apart from this, the punishment has also been increased for the sale, storage and transportation of beef.
This is the second incident of the death of cows by poisonous fodder. In April last year, 24 cows and calves died due to eating poisonous fodder of maize in the cowshed of Narayan Sarovar village in western Kutch. After cutting maize from the field, there was not enough air which made nitrite poison in it.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has lied to the differences with Lalu Prasad Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). Speculation was going on about Nitish's participation in the proposed rally of RJD next month.
On Sunday, Nitish told the media in Patna, "There is no need to comment on the RJD rally. Everyone has their own programs. If RJD convenes then we will go to the rally."
On supporting the NDA candidate in the presidential election, Nitish said on the lines of the Opposition: "We are not the hindsight of anyone who has to be asleep. We have a theory, our principle is unwavering."
Nitish, while targeting the Congress, said, "The principle is not me, you (Congress) are changing ... Lohia ji called the Congress as an 'Official Gandhian'."
Attacking BJP's politics about cow, Nitish said that more cows from Bihar are on the streets of Uttar Pradesh. He said, "BJP talks about cows. Why do not they go on the streets to take the cows? Cows are on Uttar Pradesh's roads more than Bihar."

GST i.e. goods and service tax has been implemented in whole of India (excluding Jammu and Kashmir) from midnight on 30th June.
India's President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the biggest tax reform in the country by ringing the bell in which, since July one has started the principle of 'one tax, one country, one market' across the country.
On the other hand, several parties, including the main opposition Congress boycotted it, opposing the midnight assembly session.
Also, few hours after the GST was implemented across the country, Congress has shared an old video of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter, in which PM Modi is saying that GST can never be successful, it is impossible.
Sharing the video on Twitter, Congress wrote, "It is Modi's and BJP's thinking about GST."
In the video, Prime Minister Modi is saying, "The question of GST is. Bharatiya Janata Party and Gujarat's attitude is clear from the very beginning. GST can never be successful."
While sharing another video, Congress wrote: "Modiji how fast do you forget your own words. Why are you applying GST without developing the proper infrastructure?
In this video, PM Modi is saying, "In the context of GST, the direction of the Gujarat Government and Bharatiya Janata Party is quite clear. We said that GST's dream can not be realized until the government does not have the infrastructure of IT sector with the taxpayers. This is impossible because this is the creation of GST, we can not apply it. This is absolutely impossible."
Former Union Finance Minister of India P. Chidambaram on Saturday said that the goods and services tax (GST) will prove to be a burden on the common man and will adversely affect the micro, small and medium traders because the law has been implemented, no such plan was originally created. This will make many things expensive.
In the press conference, Chidambaram said that the anti-profiting provision of the new law will serve the tools of harassment in the hands of officers.
The former Finance Minister said that 80 percent of the goods and services will be taxed and the prices will go up. They said, "inflation will increase." What is the government doing about this?
Chidambaram said that micro, small and medium enterprises and traders will be badly affected, because they are not prepared to adopt new law. He said, "The trader class wanted some time to adopt GST, but the government refused to give him time."
The former Finance Minister said that an awkward arrangement has been made in the name of the agreement and the law was implemented in haste, whereas the businessman had asked for some more time because they were not prepared for it. The results of the new law will be seen some time later.
Chidambaram said, "This is not real GST, which Congress expressed its desire and which was ideally prepared by experts. It is sad to change the form and apply it. There can be no worse law than this."
The former Finance Minister said that the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government had worked hard for this law and at that time the BJP had badly opposed it. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi himself opposed it.
He said, "When BJP was in opposition, it strongly opposed GST. Nobody can deny this fact."
The Congress leader said that GST meant that one tax and Congress had accepted the standard rate of 15 percent, in which one percent less or more was given preference. He said, "We have already said that tax at any rate can not exceed 18 percent. We have also acknowledged that there can not be a rate of tax in view of the current economic situation."
Chidambaram said that unlike the concept of a rate, there are several rates in the new law: zero percent, 2.5 percent, 3 percent, 5 percent, 15 percent, 18 percent, 28 percent and 40 percent.
Chidambaram argued that many products like petroleum, electricity and alcohol are out of the purview of GST. He said, "Surprisingly, petroleum and electricity, which are 35-40 percent of the country's economy, are out of the purview of GST."
The Congress leader said, "The anti-profiting provision of the new law will work as a tool of harassment in the hands of the authorities and everyone knows that when the tools of harassment are given in the hand of the authorities, what happens then.''
Chidambaram said that Congress is not against GST, but the way in which it is being implemented and in the changed format it is against it.
Chidambaram also said that the impact of GST will be on inflation. The Congress had boycotted the midnight concert at the Central Hall of Parliament for the implementation of GST.

The Congress attacked on Friday (June 30th) a few hours before the launch of Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India by posting an old video on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In that video, Narendra Modi seems to oppose GST. In the video, Modi says, "As far as the Government of Gujarat and Bhartiya Janta Party are concerned about GST, our stand is quite clear. In relation to GST, we have said that your GST's dream can not be fulfilled until then, can not be realization, unless you make a network of IT infrastructure with tax payers across the country, this is the creation of GST that we can not implement GST, it is a simple matter.
Posting this video with #GSTTamasha hashtag, it was written from Congress's Twitter account that how often did Modi forget his own words, why are he implementing GST without creating any infrastructure?

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has given a response after the PM condemned the alleged cow guards. Rahul Gandhi has said that the PM's statement came very short and very late due to the seriousness of the matter.
Rahul Gandhi tweeted that only words have no meaning when your words are not implemented.
According to Rahul Gandhi, now there is a need to take strict action against those who make such killings in the name of cow security, so that strict message should be heard in people, and people think hundred times before taking the law into their hands.
Explain that Narendra Modi said Thursday (June 29th) in Sabarmati of Gujarat that killing people in the name of cow security is not acceptable to the country. PM Modi said that nobody has the right to take law into the country. He said that it is never accepted by Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave, India's greatest cow guards.
AIMIM Chief Owaisi also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving a statement only in the name of action. He said that hooliganism will continue to run in the name of Gobhakti (cow worship), as long as the cow guards will continue to support from the BJP and the RSS.
Owaisi said that as long as animals will be priced more than humans in the country, killings of people will continue, they said that cow guards find direct and indirect support from the BJP and the RSS, so despite the PM's say, anything changes at the grassroots level not going to happen.
Before this, on August 6, 2016, PM Narendra Modi also warned the cow guards and said, "Some people have gone to the shop in the name of cow protection, I get very angry at it." PM Modi had asked the state government to take action against such people. Modi had said, "Some people are involved in wrongdoings all night and they wear a cow guards' chola in the day, I tell the state governments that they make dossiers of such people."
But after Modi's statement there is no shortage in murders by cow guards. Number of murders by cow guards are increasing day by day.
