Srijan scam: Crores Payment to Sushil Modi's Sister Rekha Modi in Scam

Bihar's popular Srijan scam has joined Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi's sister Rekha Modi. She is accused of taking crores of rupees from the account of Srijan.

The investigating agencies have come to know that the founders of Srijan used to give a large amount of gifts to their families to happy the officers and the politicians. Most of these were diamond jewelery.

Rekha Modi was paid to the account of Srijan for the purchase of these jewelery, then Rekha Modi gave them through her company or cash to the diamond merchant.

Ravi Jalan, owner of Jalan James of Patna, has admitted that Rekha Modi has paid him many times instead of buying diamonds.

At present, Rekha Modi is absconding from Patna. No one is able to tell her where she is at home.

In this scandal, so far Union Minister Giriraj Singh, former BJP MP Shahnawaz Hussain, BJP MP from Jharkhand Nishikant Dubey and Deputy President of Kisan Morcha of BJP Vipin Sharma have been named in the scandal.

These BJP leaders have been directly or indirectly associated with the late Secretary Manorama Devi or her son Amit Kumar or daughter-in-law Priya.

In the new disclosures, the name of Rekha Modi is connected. Knowledgeable say the name of many more big fish is yet to be exposed in this scam.

Significantly, the CBI has taken the investigation into the Srijan scandal and is studying the FIRs and other important papers filed in this regard closely. Besides, the government and bank officials, employees, employees of Srijan Women's Development Co-operation Committee, and the beneficiaries of the scam, are engaged in collecting the details of movable and immovable property by making a list of beneficiaries.

A 15-member CBI team led by ASP Surendra Mallik is investigating the matter. Earlier, Bihar's unit of SIT and economic crime were investigating this case.

Shimla Gangrape: Eight Policemen Arrested including IG and Deputy SP

In Shimla gang-rape case, the CBI took big action on Tuesday and arrested 8 policemen, including IG and Deputy SP. Following the death of the accused in the police custody, the CBI has taken this step.

They were questioned in the wake of the role of IG Zahoor H Jaisi and the role of other officers in the death of the accused. On July 22, the CBI filed two FIRs in this case.

According to CBI sources, IG and deputy SP Manoj Joshi and other police officers have been arrested on the basis of suspicion.

It will also be known in the investigation that whether it was involved in death in custody or not. On July 4, a 10th class girl was given lift by the accused in Kotkhai, 56 km from Shimla. After that, after taking her to a nearby forest, raped her and then murdered her.

The body was recovered after two days. Many traces of injury to the girl's body were also found. The police filed an FIR on the complaint of the girl's father.

After this rape and murder, there was a strong protest against the police administration in Shimla and the police was accused of saving the boys of the big houses involved in this scandal.

Later, the Himachal Pradesh High Court asked the CBI to investigate the deaths in gangrape and custardy.

The police arrested Ashish Chauhan, Subhash Bisht, Deepak Kumar, Suraj Singh and Lokjan along with the main accused Rajinder Singh in this case.

Rajinder had killed one of his co-accused in police custody on July 19.

36 Children Died in 48 hours in Gorakhpur BRD Medical College

Another major negligence case has arisen in Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College, Gorakhpur, home district of Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath.

A letter with no name came out in the name of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, High Court etc. That letter was from a Sadhvi of Ram Rahim's ashram. Sadhvi accused rape on Ram Rahim and threatening of murder.

Gujarat Government not again Created Damaged Religious Sites in 2002 Riots: Supreme Court

In India, the Supreme Court rejected the order of the Gujarat High Court on Tuesday in which the state government was asked to pay the money for the reconstruction and repair of damaged religious sites after the Godhra riots.

A bench of Chief Justice of India, Deepak Mishra and Justice P.C. Pant accepted the appeal of the Gujarat Government challenging the High Court verdict and rejected the High Court's decision. It was said that in order to rebuild and repair the damaged religious structures during the riots, the Government of Gujarat should pay the money.

Additional Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing on behalf of the Gujarat government, said that our petition has been approved.

Apart from this, the Gujarat government also told the court that the state government is keen to pay the grace amount for the rebuild and repairs of various religious structures, shops and houses damaged during the riots.

Tushar Mehta said, "The government's plan has been accepted."

The Supreme Court was hearing the petition filed by the Gujarat government against the order of the Gujarat High Court.

In its order, the Gujarat High Court had instructed the state government to pay the compensation amount to more than 500 religious places damaged in the 2002 Gujarat riots.

Rampal Acquitted in Two Cases; The Case of Treason and Murder will Continue; Will Remain in Jail

Rampal has been acquitted in two cases. There were two criminal cases on Rampal. The first case was to make people hostage. The second case was to attack the police.

The people of Arya Samaj tried to close Rampal's ashram in Rohtak. Then, allegedly by Rampal's supporters fired the bullets. In which three people died and 160 were injured. Rampal is accused of plotting the conspiracy of this matter.

In Ram Rahim's case, there was violence after being declared guilty, but it was not easy for the police to capture Rampal too.

The matter is of 2014. In the murder case, Rampal had been asked to appear in court 43 times, but he did not come. After this, the police reached Bararwala Ashram of Hisar to arrest him. It is 200 kms away from Chandigarh. There were 15,000 supporters of Baba who attacked the police. The police could not go inside.

For nearly two weeks, the people behind the large Gate clossing ashram have been hidden. Then the police cut the supply of electricity and water there. After that when the food started to finish, people slowly started coming out.

Many people had to say that they were imprisoned inside and used as a human shield. 200 people were injured in the incident. Six people were killed. Including five women and a child. Rampal's supporters ran pistols and stones all over the police from inside. Petrol bombs and acid bombs were thrown too.

Rampal is currently in jail. He was arrested in 2014. 67-year-old Rampal is on also a case of murder. For the first time since the arrival of the Khattar government in Haryana, such an incident happened in the state. There was a lot of critcism of BJP on this.

At present, Rampal will remain in jail because the rest of the cases are still going on. After the verdict on Rampal, his lawyer told it to be a victory for truth.

Preparing to Teach Muslims to Divorce in Madarsas

After being declared unconstitutional Triple Talaq or Talaq-e-Biddat at one time by the Supreme Court in India, preparations are being made to teach Muslims to be reasonably divorced in the madarsas of Uttar Pradesh.

Maulana Shahbuddin Razavi, the National General Secretary of the organization of Barelvi Sunni Muslims Jamaat Raza-e-Mustafa, told the Times of India, "After the judgements of Supreme Court on triple talaq, we are holding a meeting of the maulanas attached to the madarsas and appealed him to learn people the correct way of talaq through students, prayers of Jumme and other religious rituals.

Razavi told the Times of India that these exercises are being made to increase awareness among people about Shariah law so that triple talaq can be stopped at one time.

Razavi said that the organization would appeal to Muslim women that they should not bring their own private matters to the police or the court.

Mufti Mudassar Khan, who runs a Madrasa in Agra, told the Times of India that there is a whole chapter on talaq in the right way and he will appeal to the students to educate others about this.

According to the report, about 200 in Aligarh and about 150 madrasa in Agra.

Maulana Noman Ahmad Azhari of the Al Barakat Islamic Research and Training Institute, Aligarh, told the Times of India that many people do not have the right information about Shariah and follow him incorrectly.

Azhar also told the newspaper that his organization gives information about this to the students and asks them to motivate others to adopt the right path.

On August 22, the Constitution Bench of five judges of the Supreme Court had asked the Central Government to make a law in this regard in six months, declaring the tradition of giving triple talaq at one time unconstitutional.

This bench of the Supreme Court was headed by Chief Justice of India, JS Khehar. The five judges involved in this bench are associated with five different religions.

Apart from Chief Justice in this bench, Justice Kurien Joseph, Justice RF Nariman, Justice UU Lalit and Justice S Abdul Nazir were also present.

This bench decided against triple talaq at a time with a majority of 3-2.
