Team India Announcement for Champions Trophy

The BCCI has announced the team for the upcoming Champions Trophy. Virat Kohli will be the captain of the team. Apart from them, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wicketkeeper), Yuvraj Singh, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Jaspreet Bumrah and Manish have selected.
The Champions Trophy will be played in England from June 1 to 18. India's first match in this trophy will be with Pakistan.
India-Pakistan match will be played on June 4. India has been kept in Group B. Apart from Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka are also there.
Earlier, all the countries except India had announced their teams. Pakistan announced the 15-member team on April 25. Umar Akmal and Azhar Ali have come back in the team.
Both of these players were dropped out of the team after losing 4-1 in the five ODIs against Australia in January this year. Azhar was the captain of the Pakistan team that lost to Australia. After him Sarfraz Ahmed was made the captain of the team.
Fahim Ashraf is the only new face in the Pakistan team for the Champions Trophy.
Fakar Zaman has yet to make his debut in ODIs. He has played for Pakistan in T20.
In the tournament the teams are divided into two groups. The top teams from each group will reach the semi-finals. Group A have England, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and New Zealand, while Group-B has Australia, India, Pakistan and South Africa. If seen, India's group is the toughest.
