Neeraj Chopra has won the silver medal in men's javelin throw at the Paris Olympics.
Neeraj Chopra of India won the silver medal with a score of 89.45 meters. While Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan managed to win the gold medal with a score of 92.97 meters.
Neeraj Chopra fouled in five out of six rounds. In the only second round, his throw was 89.45 meters, which was his best.
Anterson Peters of Grenada won the bronze medal in javelin throw with a score of 88.54 meters.
With Neeraj Chopra's victory, people present at Neeraj Chopra's house in Khandra village of Panipat, Haryana, India started celebrating.
Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal for India in javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics.
By winning the gold medal in Tokyo, he became the second Indian player to win gold in an individual competition after Abhinav Bindra.

While it was believed that he had a tough competition with Germany's Weber, Weber finished sixth with a score of 87.40 meters.
While Nadeem threw 91.79 meters in the final round, which was the second highest score of this competition.
