2024 Olympic Games Host to Paris, 2028 Los Angeles

The host of 2024 and 2028 have been announced for the Olympic Games. Hosting of 2024 to France's capital Paris and American city of Los Angeles of 2028.

Both cities wanted to host the 2024 Olympic Games, but after getting the guarantee of funding from the International Olympic Committee, Los Angeles was ready to wait for four years.

Los Angeles said that it should get the chance to prepare for hosting, while Paris said that the proposed place for the Games in it would not be available after 2024 due to redevelopment.

In 2008 and 2012, Paris was also in the race to host the Olympic Games. There were Olympic Games a hundred years ago.

There are two Olympics in Los Angeles in 1932 and 1984.

After withdrawing their name by Hamburg, Rome and Budapest, there were only two candidates for hosting of 2024 - Paris and Los Angeles.

The International Olympic Committee decided to announce in June hosting of 2024 and 2028 together.
