The Ministry of Health of India addressed the media on Thursday about the status of Covid-19 in India at a gap of 20 days.
In this press conference, Rajesh Bhushan, Officer on Special Duty, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, said that work on two vaccines is going on in India for Covid-19.
According to Rajesh Bhushan, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research, Bharat Biotech International Limited and Cadila Health Care are producing two indigenous vaccines whose animal trials have been completed. Now their human trials are being prepared.
Recently, it was also expected that India could launch the corona vaccine on August 15, although experts have doubted that claim.
Currently, research is being done in more than a hundred places for the Covid-19 vaccine.
