Syrian government's attack on Eastern Ghouta killed 29 including 5 children

At least 29 people, including five children, were killed in a recent attack on the Eastern Ghouta suburb, occupied by rebels in the Syrian capital. Last week more than 500 civilians were killed in the fierce bombing by the Syrian government's loyal forces had carried out here.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a war surveillance body of Britain, 12 people dead in Dauma City in air strikes and cannons' attack continuing from the morning and four people died in Al-Shifoniya town.

SOHR however did not make it clear whether the Syrian and Russian forces are responsible for the recent attacks. At least 12 people were injured in Saturday's attack. Along with Urbin and Harasta, Gruesome attacks continued throughout the night at Sakaba and Hamouriyah. SOHR has said that in these areas, personal property was destroyed due to bombing.

According to the Observatory, the news agency AFE said that along with the deaths on Saturday, the number of dead has reached 505 in the Eastern Ghouta since February 18, in which 123 children and 65 women are included. 2,453 people have also been injured in the attacks, out of which hundreds are being described as critical. While dozens are still buried under debris. Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar had called the Syrian government to stop the bombing earlier this week.
