Attorney General Upheld the Kashmiri Youth Tied to the Army Jeep

Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi has justified the Army in the Badgam district to build a human shield behind the Jeep and bind it to the Jeep.

He said that this was an effective solution to ensure that the demand for the situation was the same and that no one should die.

The Central Government of India has also cooperated with the military officer who decided to make the alleged stone man a 'human shield'.

Government of India has supported this move by the officer to protect their units, paramilitary soldiers and the officers of Jammu and Kashmir.

The government has taken cognizance of the investigation of the army which was set up on 9th April.

It has been stated in the investigation that the Commanding Officer took this decision as the last resort, hesitant because he felt that his unit had to pass through the roads where crowds of stone men were deposited and those who took positions on nearby rooftops. Among the soldiers who were stranded, there were dozens of local government employees, 9-10 ITBP soldiers, two constables of Kashmir Police and one bus driver.
